Pet Policy

To ensure the best possible stay, we invite you to read our Pet Policy.

Dear Guest, the Management and Staff of Locanda Alpina are happy to announce that small/medium-sized dogs are welcome at our facility and may stay with you during your stay.

To this end, also in compliance with current regulations (law 281/1991), we invite you to review our “Pet Policy” in order to make the stay perfect for both you and your 4-legged friend.
  1. Small/medium-sized dogs are allowed in the hotel up to a maximum number of 1 per room, with the exception of guide animals.
  2. At the time of booking, it is mandatory to communicate the presence of your dog so that we can assign you a dedicated room. The Management reserves the right to accept the animal at its own discretion, and in any case, if it does not comply with what has been declared by the Guest.
  3. Upon arrival at the hotel, it is mandatory to present your animal’s health record (or the pet passport if coming from abroad). In the absence of such documentation, the owner must issue a declaration under their own responsibility confirming that the animal is regularly vaccinated, healthy, free of parasites, and insured for damages it could cause to property or persons.
  4. The daily cleaning service can only take place when the animal is not present in the room. To this end, we advise communicating the time you plan to leave the room empty to the Reception in advance, in order to best organise the work of the floor maid.
  5. At the end of the stay, a supplement equal to € 15.00 per day will be requested for the extraordinary cleaning of the room.
  6. It is not permitted to leave your pet alone in the room in order to prevent it from disturbing other Guests or causing damage to the room. In any case, it will be mandatory to leave a mobile contact number for any eventuality.
  7. Pets are not authorised to circulate freely inside the hotel, but must be equipped with a leash or a suitable carrier.
  8. 4-legged guests can pass, accompanied, through the common areas and along the path from the room to the hotel entrance.
  9. In the event that the 4-legged guest should soil the common areas of the hotel, cleaning will be mandatorily taken care of by the owner, who must also notify the Reception staff.
  10. It is not permitted to let the animal onto beds, armchairs, chairs, or tables either in the room or in the common areas.
  11. It is not permitted to use the bed and bath linen for your animals (grooming, bedding or other); in this case, it will be your responsibility to bring everything necessary for their well-being, including the sleeping mat.
  12. We count on your cooperation in preventing your animal from causing excessive noise, or being aggressive and offensive. Should your animal be considered dangerous or a cause of disturbance, the Management may at its own discretion request to terminate the stay in advance.
  13. At the end of the stay, the owner is required to compensate the Hotel for any damage caused by their animal. In case you do not have a specific insurance, the Hotel will charge the amount due to the credit card provided as a guarantee.
  14. For anything not specified, we refer to what is prescribed by art. 2052 of the Civil Code: “Damage caused by animals – The owner of an animal or whoever makes use of it for the time in which they have it in use, is responsible for the damages caused by the animal, whether it was under their custody, or whether it was lost or escaped, unless they prove a fortuitous event (cc. 2051)”.
